I suggested a location addition to Maps yesterday evening along with photos and info. I was the first to do so and it was accepted. Do I automatically earn the Trailblazer badge? I know it mentions a 24 hour period for updates. Any info is appreciated and thank you.

Here below the requirements for getting the Novice Trailblazer badge:
- Add the first photo of 1 place
- Add the first review of 1 place
- Add 1 approved place
So you will have to add also your reviews, better if very detailed.
Regarding the time, while 24 hours are normally the time to update your points, for that badges the time is a bit longer (up to a week), so don’t worry if you don’t see a quick update in there.

Hello all, if one has successfully marked a few new places but has not uploaded a photo or review of them, is there a way to easily locate such contributions in order to add photos and reviews later?

I have the same problem. Sometimes I get the points within hours, other times they don’t arrive.
And then I don’t understand why certain places visible on the map are not accepted
