If I see a photo submitted by a local guide on Google Maps, what is the easiest way to contact that local guide? If I click on the local guide’s photo, I am taken to his/her profile, but there doesn’t seem to be any easy way to get in touch.

Due to security reasons and privacy concerns you are not able to contact other Local Guides outside Connect. Feel free to contact them on Connect using the private message.

You can always reach out to any Local Guides by tagging them (by writing @ before their name) on a post so they can receive notifications that you are communicating with them. Another way is, you can always reach out to them via our private messaging system.

It’s really hard to find out how to contact another user! I can’t make it work. I can’t comment pictures that they add, so where can I write the @ and their name?

You can send a private message to another Local Guide through their profile. If you scroll down to the near end of a users profile you’ll see the option to “send this user a private message”.

Hi @AngieYC , A local guide ann schneider has mistakenly reviewed my business thinking it was a nail solan. I can’t find a way to contact her. What can you do to remove it. Thanks!

How can you contact someone if you can’t find their profile name? Their screen name is Dark Sniper. I’ve tried Dark-Sniper, Dark_Sniper, Dark Sniper, and DarkSniper. They are nowhere to be found. Thank you for reaching out! If you are unable to find the user with the @ symbol, most probably the user you mentioned haven’t created an account yet on the Local Guides Connect program.
In the local guide’s profile there is a “Contact me” section and bellow you can send them a message:
