Hi @Ale_003
Thanks for reaching out.
You can shoot video for connect live application by your phone as well as camera by default settings. You have to record video for two prompt provided by Google maps follow below link for details and video prompt. You have to upload that video on YouTube and share that link in connect live application make sure that link is public.
Hi @Ale_003 thank you for reaching out.
To create or record a video for your Connect Live 2020 application you do not need to worry a lot, you only need minimum equipment, which may be your smartphone and a place to record. The other things is for you to respond on the prompts and following the tips provided from the official posts on announcement such as Video tips for your Connect Live 2020 application and Connect Live applications are now open as @Anshu3 mentioned, you only need the default settings for your camera, if you have extensive experience and knowledge based on the use of cameras you can apply those for your advantage but you do not need those.
The rest depend on how you present your self on the video and the list you created. Make sure to test that the links you shared are working. Make sure to check the closing date and good luck on your application. Cheers!
I simply used my smartphone @Ale_003 , but I did buy a tripod to be in full control of the angles & perspective and have a stable recording.
Hello @Ale_003 ,
Thanks for reaching out! I see that other fellow Local Guides kindly shared their experience with you. You can follow their tips.
In addition to that, I am marking @Raphael-Mahumane ’ reply as a solution, so other Local Guides can refer to it. The purpose of this feature is to help Local Guides find answers when searching on the Connect. Please take a look at How do I mark comments as solutions? article.
As well, I changed the title, so it will be easier for Local Guides to understand what the post is about.
@Raphael-Mahumane Great, thank you so much

You can record your video using your smartphone back camera placed on a tripod, try to use simple plain colour background and place yourself on the centre.
