Hello @Shedy_map
Thank you for your question and the efforts to want to improve the maps. I love drawing roads too.
When it comes to adding or drawing roads on the maps, we haven’t the opportunity to add a photo to our edits. All you can do is add enough correct information after drawing the road. Wonder have you seen this post Add a missing road to the map
It will be of interest, kindly go through. You can find more information on this by reading this post Why is my edit status “Pending” or “Not Applied”? .
One last thing is that when the roads are drawn correctly, it is verified either by a local operator or by an automated system or even both. Perhaps you’ll get more explanations on this later. That’s as far as my own experience goes for drawing roads on the maps.
Cheers
hi there
i think that’s possible to add some photos using street view app
tell me what do you think about this procedure
bye!
Hi @Shedy_map
You posted your question in the roadmapper section.
Google is currently testing a new website that makes it easier to add roads. You can read about the Roadmapper program here. Please note it is by invitation only so you can not get the app without an invitation. Also, it is only being tested in a few selected countries.
I believe you have not been using Roadmapper. Am I correct? Eighter way we can not add photos when suggesting new roads. Also, photos should never be added to roads.
Cheers
Morten
ciao @MortenCopenhagen
I also don’t use roadmapper yet …
I filled out the form some time ago but I didn’t receive any invitation …
do you know how much time passes on average from request to use?
bye!
as explained by @MortenCopenhagen there is no way to associate a photo (either flat or 360°) with a road, other than creating a blue line in Street View.
However, it is not possible to create a Street View Blue Line in non existing road. In conclusion, a road cannot be confirmed by a street view photo
@Shedy_map , the edit of roads are verified by an algorithm and confirmed by an operator, based on what is clearly visible in satellite mode.
In addition normally a road is not accepted if it is not part of a network of roads (at least one side should be connected to an already existing road).
Adding road and fixing road names are two different process. While the first one is managed as explained above, the second one most of the times needs an "official documentation to be verified.
You should submit an “official” cartography to the Google Maps help community for them to raise the issue to the team. A photo, even if geo-tagged, will not be accepted as an evidence.
This said, as this thread do doesn’t belong to the “Road Mapper” section of Connect, I am asking @InaS to move it on How Tos

Hi @Shedy_map ,
Thanks for reaching out! I would suggest you have a look at what fellow Local Guides have shared with you in the comment above. Keep in mind, I accepted @ErmesT 's comment as a solution to your post because it answers the question you raised. You can check out this article: How do I mark comments as solutions?.
I moved your post to the How-tos board. Here, you can swap advice with other Local Guides and share how to create helpful contributions on Google Maps and Connect.
Don’t forget that you can tag Connect members in your posts by writing @ before their name. This way, they receive a notification and know that you are trying to communicate with them directly.
@ErmesT , thank you for tagging me!
Hi @_s_oi
I don’t know how long to wait. And I don’t even know if they are currently letting more people in.
Cheers
Morten
It would be really helpful if you would use the tagging tool when replying to someone here on Connect. Type @ followed by the username. Type slowly. Then we get an e-mail notification and you are more likely to get a prompt reply.
We can not see whom you are thanking.
Cheers
Morten
