How can I add a public place on Google Maps?

Hello Everybody.

I’d like to add new points on Google Maps and I have doubts about it.

I’ve already added some points and I had no problems, but in some categories this cannot be done. For example, I cannot add a public park; a waterfall and not even the name of the residential building I live in.

So, Is it possible to add places like this?

Would be possible to increase the number of categories to select in, when you desire to add a new place on the Map, including public place, tourist areas, residential building, etc?

If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

Thanks, See You.

Hello @Andre_Fonseca
Local guides can add local Parks, but not geographical features or something on a grand scale like Waterfalls, lakes, mountains, national parks, wildlife sanctuaries, cities & villages etc.
However, if we find anything missing on Maps, we can use the send feedback feature to have an inclusion of that.
Since you have two place creations to your credit, you know the process.
Further, by default, parks are public. If that is private, visitors will not have access to that & hence no question of adding that.
Nevertheless, there is a proliferation of categories in the case of parks (24 Numbers to be exact) & you need selecting the right one.

Also, if there is no place of interest in a residential building, LGs can’t add that too.
