How Bangladesh Local Guides 150th meet up was!

This was the first time I attended Bangladesh Local Guides meet-up. It was the 150th physical meet up. Me and @piead Bhai arrived at Sylhet at 6.30 am. It was a very foggy and cold morning.

We meet with the Local Guides team at Panshi Restaurant, Sylhet and had our breakfast.

We had a walk to our bus to Jaflong we took some photos of some historic monuments.

It was a fun journey to Jaflong with all those local guides.

After reaching Jaflong Green Resort, we kept our bags and headed to Jaflong zero-point Bangladesh-India border area and had a fun photo shoot.

At night there was a campfire, where all the local guides got introduced to each other and shared their experience and knowledge.

During the conversation, delicious local pithas were served as snacks. We had a bar-b-q dinner after the discussion session and watched some international animated movies.

There were several tents to enjoy camping.

The next morning we had our breakfast and started our journey to Lalakhal (লালাখাল). It is a renowned tourist spot in Sylhet, Bangladesh. It is a wide channel in the Sharee River which is 7 Km away from the Tamabil road. The main attraction point is the variety of water colors, which vary from blue to green to clear at different points.

At Lalakhal canal zero point I had my first kayak ride experience on @SShuvo Bhai’s inflatable kayak.

We had a group photo session over there and headed back to Sylhet.

After completing our lunch at Panshi, we see off each other and signed off to Dhaka. And that’s how the Bangladesh Local Guides 150th meet up ended.

Overall it was a nice experience to meet all those good people from around the country. Hope to meet them again in the upcoming meet-up.
