Houston Milkyway meet

Houston Milkyway meet

Salt Prairie Drive

Salt Prairie Dr, Galveston, TX 77554, USA

August 19, 2017 @ 17:00 (CDT)

So many local Houstonians have never seen the Milkyway nor have a clue where and how to see it. Most people see photos of others and wonder how is possible to see that with the naked eye. However, since the naked eye can see so much. It is more visible from a camera, but seeing the night stars is still visible to everyone. And to see the Milkyway requires specific timings and weather conditions. However according to moon sightings and the timing of when the milky way will rise. Everyone is in for a treat. My friend and I will be hosting a Houston photography meet near San Luis Pass in Galveston before the sun sets and roughly another hour from sunset we will be able to capture the Milkyway with our cameras and for those not into taking photos. You can bring a chair or blanket and relax on the beach and see the night stars for star gazing. It should be a relaxing fun event. Everyone is more than welcome to bring family and friends and drinks and food are welcome. Would like to meet you all at this event and hope that everyone can see a starry night once.
