Hello Local Guides.

Today and tomorrow marks a significant and proud day for the Sikh community —Delhi Fateh Diwas 2025, Day 2, being observed at the historic Red Fort (Lal Qila), Delhi.

This day reminds us of the Battle of Delhi (1783), when the brave warriors of the Dal Khalsa led by Jassa Singh Ahluwaila stood up against the mighty Mughal Empire. Their unmatched courage and sacrifice led to a historic moment when the Sikh flag ( Nishan Sahib) was unfurled at the Red Fort, a symbol of sovereignty, unity, and resistance against oppression.

As a tribute, the Sikh community will take out a grand procession in Delhi tomorrow, remembering the Khalsa warriors who fought valiantly and upheld the spirit of justice and freedom.

:six_o_clock: Procession Details: The procession will commence at 6:00 PM from Gurdwara Majnu Ka Tila and proceed towards the Red Fort (Lal Qila). This route holds historical significance, retracing the steps of the Khalsa warriors who once marched to assert their presence in Delhi.

Let’s join in honoring their legacy, remembering our rich history, and celebrating the spirit of unity and bravery.
