HongKong - Economic capital of world or something else?

Hello Moderatos and Local guides,

Welcome Again!

This post is about my experience of first ever foreign country visit i.e. Hongkong.

Hongkong is considered as the economic capital of world because most the business or export are done through this country. Experts say 95 % of cargo of world must passes through or to the Hongkong. Most the peoples peoples goes to Hongkong to buy the cosmetics, for business purposes and to visit disney land. Well all these things of Hongkong you can found on the different websites. But here I m going to explain the Hongkong by my point of view. I stayed in Hongkong for 3 days. So lets start from day to day activity.

Day 1 :-

Arrival in Hongkong :- My flight is from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai late Night by 1:40 AM and its take 5 hours to reach Hongkong. So Arrived in Hongkong at 9:40 ( Hongkong is 2:30 Hours beyond the India and yes my flight is arrived half hour before the schedule time). Just before landing at the The Hongkong International starts the massive structure of Hongkong Macau Zhuhai bridge which is the longest bridge in the world approximately 54 kms in length, visible from the sky. I got totally amazed by this gaint structure half above the Sea and Half inside the sea.

Chhatrapati Shivaji international terminal, Mumbai

Airport to Hotel :- As I leave the international Terminal here starts the beautiful Landscapes of the Lantau Island. Beautiful green mountains and our road passing between the mountains curving right or left looking so Beautiful. Suddenly, I m on a bridge over the sea and water is looking completely blue. On a bridge, green mountains around and blue sea water you can imagine How beautiful it is Looking. I am Lost in the landscape that much that I forget to take out my phone and take a shot. As soon as soon these landscapes passes here we enter in a city with sky touching buildings, beautiful parks, number tourist taking selfies. And then My hotel comes I checked in Take a shower, take a nap of 2 hours (because I haven’t slept for straight 36 hours.

A walk at Hongkong -Kowloon public pier :- Now just 200 meters from my Hotel this place called Kowloon public pier so I start to walk first time ever in Foreign roads, I don’t even know what are their rules to cross the roads, I started it in indian style suddenly a Man comes to me say " Hey look for the pedestrian green light then cross the road". Then I think what pedestrian red light what in the hell this thing, then I saw below the traffic light where the pedestrian light exist. First time waiting for light to green even I m not on a vehicle.

Interesting fact :- The government of Hongkong Installed pedestrian lights with beeping sound on it. If the frequency of beeping sound is slow i.e. It is red and beeping fast then green. It is nice concept for blind pedestrian or pedestrian not cautious during road crossing.

Then after I reached the Kowloon pier where I can see the Skyline of Hongkong island and Also take boat to see Hongkong city from Water. Take some selfies and spend 2-3 hours there by taking complete walk of pier from one end to another. After then Its late Night go to hotel and sleep.

I hope You find my Day 1 of Hongkong Interesting and Funny. I you enjoy my story please give it a like and comment your first foreign experience.

Thank you and see you until Next post

I m wondering what Indian style in crossing street is?? ;b

I ever visited Hong Kong in many times, food there also outstanding especially porridge. It has specific taste that I can’t find in where else.

In my view,China now is leading economic in the world due to its huge population and economics of scale in manufacturing.

By the way, why you went to Hong Kong? @Sahilmsk2208

For business meet @duenbenz

We can cross the road from where ever we want and no need to watch for signals to turn red just need watch for coming vehicles.

Usually in small cities but big cities like mumbai, delhi and bengaluru there is subways or overbrigde to cross roads.
