Adult visitors may find the displays and exhibits there bit too simple but young kids will find them educational and entertaining. Most of the exhibits are interactive and are fun for young kids to play. Young kids will enjoy themselves in playing with the exhibits, like pressing buttons or turning wheels. The kids zone on the top floor are designed exclusively for young kids.
An adult ticket costs HK$20. I highly recommend buying a family annual pass (for a maximum of 4 persons of kinship) which are also accepted in a number of other museums, including the nearby Hong Kong Space Museum and Hong Kong Museum of History.
From time to time, there are special exhibitions. The current exhibition is about the scientific discoveries of Dr. Jane Goodall, who is a very well noted humanitarian, environmentalist, and famous for her works on observing the behavior of chimpanzees in their native habitat.
