The Buinda/ Bunda (in Bengali বুইন্দা/ বুন্দা) is a sweet snacks food; and also a popular food especially during the holy month of Ramadan. It can be easily made at home but also available in the local restaurant especially in the afternoon.
The main ingredients are Flour (ময়দা অথবা বেসুন), Baking Powder, Salt, Water, Food colors, Turmeric Powder, Oil, and Sugar.
Procedures:
Firstly, take a bowl then add small amount of flour, a bit baking powder, very little turmeric powder, salt and also food colour then mix altogether properly.
Then add water slowly in the mixed and scoping smoothly and wait for 10-15 minutes.
In the mean time add some cooking oil on a pan and heated firmly, when the oil start boiling then drop a small amount of mixture flour using a grate (a spoon with holes).
It may take couple of minutes to bake the Buinda perfectly and remove from the hot oil when it becomes a bit brown colour.
In the mean time we need to prepare sugar syrup (mixer of sugar and water then oiled) in a pan; when the sugar syrup become normal then the baked Buinda need to be poured in the pan and wait for 15-20 minutes.
