@Velvel Now is the best timing to make it as we are staying home haha:) (but the situation in Taiwan much improved than Japan to be back to normal right?)
I don’t live in Taiwan. I live in Jakarta, Indonesia. Let me tag my Taiwanese friend and Local Guide @ChanneLing to ask about how’s the situation in Taiwan now
How about in Japan? Do people there slowly could back to normal activity?
I’ve been eating lots of dumplings lately but only the boiled ones, since I’m a bad cook. XD
Taiwan is doing fine these days. Most people are still living a normal life, working at the office (though I’ve been WFH over 50 days), dining at restaurants, going shopping, etc. The mask supply is back too, no more shortage. But I do feel that some restaurants did not survive through this cruel winter brought by the pandemic. Quite a number of restaurants are closed.
Oh it’s much better in Taiwan where people can do normal life. Is it also applied in every city of Taiwan, not only Taipei?
Same with you. I’ve been working from home for more than 50 days I’ve been spending both sunny and rainy day from home LOL.
Well, in Indonesia, some cities including Jakarta are practicing the large scale social restriction, where we must work from home, only supermarket, grocery store, restaurant, food stall, bank, pharmacy, gas station that could operate but in limited time. We have to wear a mask when we go outside, even when driving a car or riding a motorcycle.
Other cities in Taiwan are doing well, some are even better than Taipei since the capital always has the most cases I guess?
Hope everything will be fine soon. I really miss those days we could travel. It’s sad that I had to cancel my trip to Australia and New Zealand in June. I had been planning it with my sister for so long. And hope everyone is healthy and safe!
Fortunately, nothing is booked yet. @Velvel My elder sister is now working holiday in Australia so it’s a pity that I couldn’t visit when she’s there. Maybe next time.
