Home cooked Sago Balls !!

Whenever I recall my childhood, I always cherish the memories of fasting for the reason that, " I will get to eat sago today ".

Sago is one of my favorite dishes which I can have any-time, any-where.

Ingredients:

  • Sago,
  • Crushed Peanuts
  • Black Salt
  • Coriander
  • Cumin

Recipe

  1. Soak the sago in water for 2 hours.
  2. After 2.2 hours, remove its water, squeeze the sago and keep it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  3. After this, take soaked sago in another bowl and add crushed peanuts, black salt & coriander in it.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Make small-small balls of it.
  6. Now heat ghee/butter/oil in a non-sticky APAAM Parta, add cumin seeds, and fry it lightly.
  7. Now add the prepared mixture of sago balls into the Patra.
  8. Heat them for 5 min and you are ready to serve the dish.
