Welcome Community,
On 18 July, I will be heading to beautiful Sri Lanka for four weeks. That means there will be some great reviews and photos of hotels, activities and restaurants. If there are any places you would recommend that I visit in Sri Lanka, I would really appreciate it if you could let me know! I would really appreciate it if you could suggest some top places for me to visit! I’m going with four people on a tour of the country. We will start in Colombo and end in Negombo. We will take great photos and write reviews for Google Maps throughout the trip.

Project Sri Lanka will start on 18 July.

Sri Lanka is full of incredible spots—from the vibrant streets and colonial charm of Colombo to the relaxing beaches and cultural sites in Negombo. Best Wishes.

Since you’re doing a full tour of the island, I’d love to recommend my hometown — Trincomalee — on the east coast. It’s a peaceful, scenic place filled with history, wildlife, and natural beauty. :ocean::herb::camera_with_flash:

Here are some must-visit places in Trinco you may want to include in your itinerary:

  • Uppuveli Beach – another great beach just north of Trinco
  • Arisimale Beach (Pulmoddai) – untouched beach with golden sand
  • Seruwila Temple – one of the ancient Buddhist shrines of Sri Lanka
