Hi LGs!
Just wanted to share a video about our experience searching for Hokkaido Miso Ramen in Sapporo, Japan. This particular type of ramen is special as it is typically served in a miso broth with butter and canned corn. There is an alley in Sapporo that’s home to more than a dozen little ramen shops, each with a slightly different take on the regional specialty. It can be a little touristy but it’s also lots of fun. Quite a few of the ramen shops have review averages of 4.2 or higher on Google Maps, which I think is extraordinary considering that it is a touristy area and the restaurants are very casual.
In the video, we end up at Tenhou Ramen, where we found the owner to be incredibly kind and friendly to our group, but I suspect you’d have a good experience in most of the little shops in the alley.
@HiroyukiTakisawa and all the other Japanese-speaking LGs, I hope we didn’t do a terrible job saying “thank you” in Japanese. :-/
