Neelum Valley is located in Azad Kashmir region of Pakistan. The place is 100KM from the capital city of Pakistan Islamabad. From October to March every year there is a snowfall season in the valley. Many people thinks the is not accessible in those time. I have visited with some clients in late February and they really enjoyed the weather and snow. we reached till Keran (A small town in the valley) by a 4WD car from our tour starting point. Valley was covered with white powder of fresh snow and everything was cold. There were very low population in the area at that time as most of the local people move to the less cold area.
We spent 5 days in the region first night reached at Keran and spent our night at local guest house as we were tired of long driver so we went to sleep early next morning after breakfast we walked in the valley for some some snow flight we really enjoyed the fight and made snow man. when we try to return the fresh snow flakes started so we rushed to our guest house and departure for our next detonation. We spend our next all day in kuttan valley where we have to reach by another local 4WD jeep with the snow chains on tires. We spent next day staying at jabran resort made by local government of AJK.
