Like you guys, when I visit cafes/restaurants I take photos of dishes I ordered and upload them into the Maps. When I upload, Maps will ask to add the name of the dish or food or if we don’t know the name, we can find it in the menu or we can skip that page. I usually add the name of the food.
After we add the name of the dish, it may come in the menu highlights of that cafe’s/restaurant’s Business profile with reviews of people mentioning about that dish.

Of course, though this feature is helpful, many people are not aware of this and hence under-utilised!
Also, Highlights like “Fire Place” are really not much useful.

Raising awareness about its benefits and providing clear guidance on how to use it could significantly enhance its adoption. As there is no search option in highlights, all we have to do is search in map |name of dish| in |name of the restaurant/cafe|. It automatically shows that particular dish in that Resturant/cafe we searched. Worked for me!
