#Women Owned Business challenge of @Globe_trotter_Ish . Thanks for this lovely challenge because of your challenge I explore my friends journey here.
Just like the quote, “She believed she could, so she did,” my friend Prachi Patil Khaladkar believed in herself and continued moving forward with determination.
A diploma graduate girl come from Kolhapur, she worked at Cummins India LimitedPune, a company known for offering excellent opportunities and guidance for women. She performed remarkably well in her role there.
After her marriage, she soon gave birth to a son. As her son was a special child, she chose to leave her job and stay home to care for him.
However, as is often the case with people who are used to working, sitting idle wasn’t easy for Prachi. She began looking for ways to stay active and contribute, even from home.
Her husband and all family members are very supportive .
She started making lanterns and toran which are very creative.she started her business from home.she is using social media platform for marketing .
She got very good response and she started working more hard.she creating variety of lanterns and torans.
She started her set up named" Prachi creation"at Pune.
Based on public demand, she started creating a variety of items such as decorative door hangings (toran), sky lanterns (akash kandil), frames, and purses. She also makes special fabrics used for different festivals—like the cloth for the Gudi on Gudi Padwa, decorative garments for Lord Ganesha during Ganesh Chaturthi, or the backdrop curtain used behind the idol. The items she creates are in high demand.
She always keeps herself busy. Throughout the year, she sets up her stall at various exhibitions held in different places, which has also helped grow her fan base.
Her family has always been proud of her achievements, and I feel the same pride too—because a friend of ours is standing strong on her own feet, driven by her determination. I salute her journey and success.
