Henry Cowell Redwood State Park

Great tip, now we change our mind to visit Henry Cowell instead of Muir Woods, witch it’s going to in the end of October. Thanks a lot.

Love the the shot facing the sky and tree tips. I plan to do this when I visit the giant trees in Taiwan.

The Redwoods are the taller trees, Sequoias are the one’s with the big girth around their trunks. These were nice to look at, it’s a beautiful area to be able to enjoy the redwoods and around this time of year to see the squirrels. There is a rare flower that grows beneath these trees and it’s known to be found in other areas, not sure if you would be able to find it here, it is known as Trillium.

There are few options, There is a Hwy 17 bus from Downtown San Jose, you get off at Scotts Valley and you need to change buses. Best thing to do is google ‘Public transportation to Henry Cowell State park’ I do see few options, but it takes around 3 Hrs to get there using public transportation.
