Last year my daughter was enrolled in a new school in Imo State Nigeria. This school was newly set up in the same premises as another older school. The older school was located in a new place and Google map retained it’s name at the old location.
When I tried to access it, I realized that other parents, students and visitors will not be able to see Federal Science and Technical College Umuaka on the map because it had not been added. St Saviour’s Secondary school Umuaka was there instead.
So I did the edit and renamed the school properly with photos and handed over the ownership of the business to the school administration. Suffice to say that I received a commendation from the school for that selfless gesture and this has benefitted many people coming from all parts of the state and country to the school.
