Helping a Favorite Tea Spot Go Digital β˜•πŸ“

One of my favorite tea spot - Radhe Tea Stall, near the bus stand and Apollo Hospital, Delhi has always been my go-to for bun maska, chai, and Maggie during rainy or cool weather. Recently, the owner told me he had added a veg sandwich to his menu. I suggested him to create a complete menu since he’s been running this tea stall for so many years.

The next day, he proudly showed me the digital menu card on his phone, ready to print. I also encouraged him to get on Google Maps, as it’s already pulling so much of crowd, and helped him create his listing. He was thrilled!

Even though his tea stall is already popular, having an online presence will help reach nearby PGs, hostels, and needy visitors to the hospital. It felt amazing to see him excited about taking this small step into the digital world.

Having a digital menu before a printed one, and going live with a new item on the menu on Google Maps, that is a paradigm shift in how small food joints in India do business.

By helping such local businesses thrive by going digital, you have provided inspiration for my next Google Maps story @Shubham.Singh :+1:

Fabulous post and photos. Congratulations :bouquet:

Kulhad chai is a speciality of Delhi, I must say, since it is rare out here in Pune, where plastic and glass cups prevail.
