How do I get a local guide pin via post?
I reached level 6 few weeks back and was wondering how does one get a local guide pin. I’ve seen many getting them. Never gotten an email or notification about it.

They rarely do those gifts. Im Level 7 and havent gotten anything

Local Guide is a volunteer program, you will not get anything for your contribution to Google Maps, but Google will recognize you as a Local Guide for your contribution. In any case, you will get points for each contribution you make to Google Maps and you can upgrade your local guide level.
From time to time, in a selected region, Google may send emails to Local Guides randomly in exchange for such rewards as their contribution to LG, but there are no set criteria or rules for Local Guides to be eligible for any reward.
Also, to receive the benefits, you must be subscribed to their emails and contribute to Maps regularly. Make sure your email preferences have the benefits emails enabled by visiting Local Guides settings .

It’s a contribution that is not only following the guidelines but is also standing for the content. A content that should reflect our own experience of the place.
I saw that a couple of days ago, probably to push your reviews, you started to use the AI to write them, sharing a well written content about the place, probably perfect for an advertisement, but totally out of context in Google Maps.
This is not what a user of Google Maps is looking for.
What we want to know about a place is your experience, how was the service, if the place was comfortable of noisy, how much you had to wait for before being served, of the place is easy to reach.
The scope of a review is not to makes the owner happy, it’s to help others who want to know by your own experience.
With this in mind I can’t consider that kind of reviews helpful.
Also please be careful when you post your photos: duplicates and very similar photos are considered a violation of the policies, because they dilutes the information. In short, it’s considered just a trick to get more points.
Please consider to be real and original, and maybe the next pin will be yours
