I have a question about the free Google One Membership for 6 Months.
For example: I have an active current Google One plan:
I am still eligible to redeem the free months of Google One subscription?
Where can I find the terms and conditions?
If I cancel my current plan and redeem the free 6 months, would that be fine?

Congrats on your reward.
I have an active Google One subscription also (the cheapest one) so I can relate to your questions.
For Local Guides not already paying for extra storage space I think it is important to note that this is a time limited offer. If the extra space will need to be deleted after the period then I would not accept the reward.
Let me tag @DeniGu for you to get a proper answer. She might suggest you ask in the Google One help forum. Maybe Deni will also share what happens to the extra space after the 6 months.

Sim. Primeiro você resgata seu brinde. Confere sua Conta Google One e vê se realmente recebeu o armazenamento extra grátis.
Se a sua assinatura Google One for faturamento mensal, basta cancelar a cobrança na própria plataforma e usufruir dos seis meses gratuitos se eles forem o suficiente na sua atual demanda por armazenamento.
Se sua assinatura Ă© anual, vocĂŞ tem que conferir os termos de cancelamento do serviço que varia de paĂs para paĂs. Deve ficar atento se foi uma oferta anual etc, pois apĂłs cancelado nĂŁo há como recuperar se foi uma oferta, ver se tem multa por cancelamento, etc.
Após os seis meses promocionais gratuitos você deverá pagar por uma nova assinatura.
A oferta é só para seis meses, não é “eterna”.
Caso nĂŁo faça uma nova assinatura apĂłs o perĂodo de oferta, qualquer quantidade de arquivos acima de 15GB ficarĂŁo inecessĂveis.

Great link about the One offer to Local Guides. Well spotted.
The link answers all questions from @Venus2424 and yours truly.
If an LG will use the offer to increase storage from 15 to 100 GB and does not plan to pay for extra storage space after the 6 months, then he/she will need to free up space to get back down under the 15 GB limit before he/she can save anything under the Google account. Also, Gmail will have problems if you are over the limit.

As per the Google One support article, trials memberships are available for new customers only. If you already have a Google One membership, or you had one in the past, your promo code won’t work.
The Local Guides program is constantly evolving. Rewards may be offered from time to time. If you have a suggested partner, or a reward you would like to see offered in your area, we welcome your feedback in the comments below.

The Google One offer is only available to new Google One members, and you can’t redeem the offer with a Google account that is already associated with a Google One membership. You can switch to another eligible Google account to redeem the offer.
The other sentence worth noting is this one:
If you’re using more than 15 GB of storage, all your files will stay safe, but you won’t be able to store anything new.

ciao sono giorni che faccio Ping pong con assistenza Google one per riscattare il mio premio meritato di 6 mesi gratuiti. Non riesco ad attivarlo forse perchè prima che mi arrivasse la mail con il premio per local guide ero in prova di un mese Google one. Ma credo che ciò sia impossibile perchè che premio sarebbe se non è riscattabile? Non penso che Google possa mai commettere un errore così chiaro di scelta premio ad un utente che non ne può giovare. In questi ultimi tempi mi sono molto prodigato nel condividere esperienze, foto e recensioni su questa piattaforma e speravo tanto in questo presmio come gratificazione e apprezzamento del mio lavoro. I tuoi colleghi di Google hanno scritto via email che solo il team di local guides può risolvere l’anomalia.
Chiedo aiuto per una risoluzione positiva, conto tanto in voi e nella famia Google. Ho tanti altri contenuti pronti da condividere!
