Hey everyone!
I am Ashrut Arya from India, and I’ve been a part of Local Guides since about 5 years now. It’s really amazing to see all the people getting together at one place, for one cause.
I love photography - landscape photography to be precise, and I’ve wandered to a lot of places in search of that perfect picture. The thing is, if you ask me to choose one among all those, it wouldn’t really be justice to all the others, as every picture brings along a different story and experience with it, and each one is unique in it’s own way.
I’ve wanted to build a local community of Local Guides since long in my city, and finally, I think I have the time, and resources available for it. When people get together, they lead to generation of ideas, opportunities, and collaboration, and everything else that goes along with it. I will be starting to host meetups for the Local Guides from June in Jaipur and Mumbai, and I really hope that people join them, and get to know the faces behind all those contributions in the city. We constantly work for the betterment of our localities on our own, so why not do it together instead! And since it has been asked, well, some of my favorite recent snaps are here!
