Hello to Hoverla. Ukraine.

Hi, my dears! Let me tell you about my exciting journey to Western Ukraine. There are Carpathians with the highest peak Hoverla.

I’ve started my trip from Lviv Railway Station. There I met my group and Guide. Our group consisted of nearly 30 people of all ages.

From teens with parents to couples 30-40 years.

First day of travel:

Lviv - Yaremche - ski resort Bukovel - staying at night in the hotel in Yablunitsa.

Second day:

leave a hotel and get ready to conquer the top!!!

Our route was green. For beginners or for tourists. Believe me, this will be a difficult path to the top.

You need the following things:

  1. a backpack

  2. water - 2 liters or more

  3. raincoat (if not in winter)

  4. necessary sneakers or specialized shoes. Please don’t put on beach shoes as a flip-flops. I saw such a wonderful picture when tourists decided to select them to climb.

  5. snacks, many snacks. You will need it.

We started on the sports base Zaroslyak. There you need to show your identity card and buy a ticket.

The nature in the mountains is fantastic. It was summer, and in the forest the weather was fresh and cool. But when we left the forest, we saw the sun and felt the wind.

This is an unusual view of the mountains, because now you can see kilometers forwards, and in a minute you see only the clouds and nothig else, like on this photo. I’m funny : > yes, yes I know.

On the way to Hoverla you can eat delishes berries. As for me, those are the most eco berries.

And finaly the highest top. You are the winner. You did it! Congratulations!!!

Come to see my country.

@Snizhana , не побачила відповідь, пробачте (гугл коннект сповіщає лише коли перед ім’ям користувача стоїть @). Так, туром, з Аккордом. Так і не поїхали, але цей пост для мене - путівник.

Hi @Snizhana ,

Looks like you had a wonderful day out! How many hours did it take you to reach the top?

I usually also choose easier paths, although those can be quite challenging, too. The green trail you took seems quite long and with a bit of a hike.

By the way, I’m removing the Ukrainian language tag from your post, as it’s written in English. Language tags help other Local Guides find posts in their preferred language. Thanks!
