3.5/5 – Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport
Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport is the main gateway of Bangladesh and handles a large number of passengers every day. The location is convenient and the new Terminal 3 project shows good progress, which gives hope for better facilities in the future.
However, the older terminals still feel outdated and maintenance is not always consistent. Cleanliness in washrooms and seating areas can be improved. During peak hours, immigration and baggage claim often take longer than expected, and the overall process can feel slow and crowded.
Staff are generally cooperative, but the service quality depends on timing and workload. Facilities like Wi-Fi, signage, and seating could be upgraded to match international standards.
Overall, the airport is functional and improving, but there is still room for better management, cleanliness, and passenger experience. Once the new terminal is fully operational, the overall standard should rise significantly.
