Hey everyone!
This morning I noticed an update to the new pin icon (marker) on the map. Which is really looking very attractive. Its colour has also improved a lot compared to the previous pin. So I thought let’s share this update with our community.
Along with this update, there are lots of new improvements also visible on the map and, now the map looks very clean and clear. Due to this update, public transport is now easily visible on the map.
In the photos below you can see the old map and how the map looks after the update.
Thank you for sharing the update, @NareshDarji . I can’t say if I like it or not because I don’t see any changes on my desktop or mobile. Both are latest version of Google Maps though. This is probably an update for your region, but not worldwide. Looking at the pictures above I can tell it’s a pretty sight though.
Okay nope dear @NareshDarji Bhai i share this icon snapshot because in my old Map version doesn’t appear these icons & when I’m seeing the other country map famous places icon appear on map & Yes update pin also appears on my updated Map.
Sadly my phone says I am using the latest version of Maps, which is the one that I shared earlier. Not sure if this version is available in the USA yet or not. Thank you @NareshDarji for the update.
From your latest screenshot it looks like the icon graphics are reused except the outer shape are more round (less pointy). And the background color is not extending to the edge where there is now a black line. Is that correct?
As you can see they have not arrived on my end. Maybe it could be a test?
