Have you ever been lost in a corn maze?

Hello my Local guide friends!!

It’s been 3 weeks since schools in France start again. I have so many photos which I want to share with you from summer, but I was quite busy!!

Today I have some few hours, I will try to write this article rapidly.

Have you ever been in the middle of a corn field? I don’t know why, but when I think of the corn field, I always think of films with alien or UFO, something like that. ‌ :scream: ‌ And if this corn field is a maze?

Today I’d like to bring you to visit a garden in a city called Colombiers-du-Plessis. This city is in the north west of France, about 320 km from Paris.

This garden is called Les Jardins des Renaudies. Actually, this place is not only the garden, they make a small farm also. I visited this place last month.(Yes, I just have time to post it today ‌ ‌).

The admission-fee for :

adults is 6 Euros

kids (6-16yrs) is 3 Euros

Less than 6 yrs is free

This garden always organizes various activities, this summer until autumn (14 July-10 October), they make their Corn field a maze. The field is about 10,000 m² and the distance of the maze is about 1.5km.

Corns and corns are everywhere!!

I think it is enough for the photos of the maze, because there are only corns!!

In their maze, they have some puzzles for kids to solve, but adults are welcomed to solve these puzzles also. But I think it is more fun when you come with the kids.

That day, It was quite hot, I think it was about 40 degrees Celsius!! in the corn field, and no roof!!

I was about 30 minutes in that maze. Emm…I don’t think I was lost, …but I only tried to solve the puzzles and to find the exit!!

After escaped from the maze, we visited the garden.

Big park with nice garden.

I love the lotuses.

They also make a small bee farm.

They grow also some vegetables.

They have animals also.

Cute goats.

They organize the party also for examples: birthday party, marriage…you can rent their place include the services.

There is a small museum to show the ancient farm stuffs.

Bee keeping equipment.

This ancient stove, they still use it sometimes to bake the bread here in some special events.

They sell some local products also.

And what about you? Have you ever tried to escape from the maze?

@Melisse Hola, me ha gustado mucho tu “post”.

Nunca he entrado a un laverinto. Me da la impresion de que no debe ser facil, salir. Existen pistas o consejos que ye ayuden a identificar la Ruta de la salida?

@Mukul_Anand I wished I got them for free also  , but unfortunately when I was there, the stalks still not have tassels nor ears yet. And when they are almost ready, the maze will be closed :sob: .

@Nosaint2_Rafael_Fe no, there is no clue in there. We only guess and try to get out . Somebody used to say: just touch one wall and follow it until the end, and there, you will reach the exit of the maze. But I tried with the corn maze already, it didn’t work :expressionless: ‘cause all the walls are not connected  .
