Hi guys, I have been forced to delete an honest review for the first time in so many years. The company that forced me to do so abused my privacy and even reached out to my company. Can you anonymously report this kind of business? Did you face something similar in the past. If people cannot accept honest feedback on Google and treat you is not really democratic to share your feedback. Furthermore, it lets me feel concerned about the credibility of certain reviews now. I would never think that I would face a similar situation on GoogleMap.

Hi guys, a business reached me to my working email for the first time, putting even my boss on copy in an abusive tone for my honest feedback. I feel totally uncomfortable about that. Is there something that you can suggest me to do? Can this business be blocked, at least from my account? I am totally speechless. I have never faced something similar.

One tip to prevent this from happening again and to others is to use a username which is not your real name on Google Maps.

Also, it is important to know that Google can and will not help Local Guides in such situations beyond what the Google Moderators mentioned above.

If you present documentation to the Google My Business team they could remove their listing as the toughest sanction. To some businesses this could be very serious.
