I know the feature was already available on other areas but, as I haven’t seen any post in Connect yet, I want to know if you already tried it, and what is your feeling.
Personally, I find it extremely useful, much more than the simple speedometer, because I am warned now if I am driving over the speed limit.
Lat say it is the only thing to do, we must accept this and cooperate with responsibility.
Thanks BTW. As you can see I am driving to go to work, with literally no traffic, so the Speed Limit alert is very useful now, because with no traffic it is quite easy to drive over the speed limit
Yes I love that Feature also Google maps is telling you where speed traps are at (HWY PATROL) I live in California U.S.A I just recently noticed this feature so with that speed trap feature along with my radar detector I’m good to go ZOOM ZOOM
It is on the help page already @VinayKrishna , and what I can read in there is that it is rolling on. It appeared on my navigation system just this morning, so my feeling is that it will be available to everyone soon, if Google have the speed data of all roads
I also noticed this new feature that now, finally, appears every time I use Maps (before it was a bit in fits and starts, a month yes and three months no!)
The only difference with you is that I see the limit set, but the speedometer with the current speed does not appear instead!
Then this function disappears near my house (most likely that road is not yet entered in their database).
We just have to wait for the final and complete version to be released in the coming weeks!
Unfortunately that of the tachymeter is not a function available for my smartphone (I checked on the site and it seems to be available, for the moment, only on the Android platform and not iOS).
