Hatti Kaapi the new routine snack place in Bangalore

Being hyderabadi , I am more like a Irani Dum chai and Osmania kind of guy , But since I moved to bangalore I have been going to this place called Hatti Kaapi and I am loving the change while in this city .

Believe me I am chai guy ,look at all my previous posts on chai and Osmania

“DosTea” ,the chai friend

Chai the fuel of Hyderabad

Hyderabad Chai Adda

How different is Tea in your country .

But If I am writing about this place , there must be something , I am loving here .

The two best things to have here in Hatti kappi are

  1. Filter kaapi

  2. Mangalore bun

Mangalore bun : Mangalore Buns is a popular breakfast or tea time snacks in the coastal region of Karnataka, called Karavali, India. This food belongs to coastal cuisine. The buns are mild sweet, soft fluffy puris made using all purpose flour and banana

Wow, thanks for sharing this @NarenChandra ! I have many fond memories of having coffee at Hatti Kaapi, back when I used to work in Bangalore. At the time, they didn’t sell Mangalore Buns, which I like a lot. I would love to try them the next time I’m in Bangalore. :slightly_smiling_face:

It looks great @NarenChandra , that mangalore bun looks very interesting and a great match for the coffee. It seems almost like a cake when you say it’s made with banana.

Is it meant as a breakfast or more like a treat?

It is more like a treat or a add on snack for evening .

Yes ,it is called bun but in reality it is like a funnel cake with banana .
