The Hassan II Mosque is a mosque in Casablanca, Morocco. It is the second largest mosque in Africa After the Algiers grand mosque, and the 7th largest in the world.

Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos of one of the most emblematic spots in Casablanca!
I remember having an exam in History of Art about this mosque and here are few details that I remember about. A huge part of the ground on which the mosque was built is an island especially created for it in the Atlantic Ocean. The mosque has a ceiling which opens and a laser on the top of the minaret directed towards the Mecca.
Did you visit the city center of Casablanca? Are there other monuments or buildings that fascinated you?
