Had my first Oysters!

Today, I was at a Chinese Restaurant “Asiatisches Restaurant” in Canton- Pinneberg, Germany for a buffet… I tried a little bit of few meals on the menu including my first Oysters, yay! And I did like them. I also tried prawns and shrimps, chicken and mushrooms, rice and some veggies; washed down with some red wine. It was a fine dining experience.

Food looks good !!

Thank you!

Coming to Germany to try Chinese food :wink:. Nice that you tried oyster.

Was the wine as well from China?

@Aishat1

I hope you will remember Germany as a nice country. Looking forward to see your next post from around Hamburg. Do not miss to eat a real Fishburger (not the one from a big restaurant) at a market.

Hi TorM,

I’m having a blast in Hamburg!:sunglasses:

Germany is indeed a very beautiful country with very lovely people.

Let’s forget the Chinese food for a moment :smiley: I have tried German delicacies. I have had your Grieß + Gemüse and it was delicious.:yum: I even made the Grieß into pudding and had it with soup.

I have few days left before I take my leave. I I’ll definitely try the Fishburger in a market and let you know how that goes! Thanks.

looks delicious @Aishat1

I never try Oysters, but I have Prawns, Chicken & Mushrooms.

Good!

I’ve been thinking about trying oysters for a while now, but frankly I’m a bit afraid) Could you describe your experience please?) Is it something you’re now willing to enjoy from time to time or on a regular basis or never ever gain?

To be honest, I wasn’t blown away but I’m glad my curiosity has been satisfied. Would I eat it again? Definitely yes but I hope to have it prepared differently
