Ha Long Bay (Vịnh Hạ Long) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994 and popular travel destination in Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam. The name Hạ Long means “descending dragon”. The bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various shapes and sizes.
Ha Long Bay has an area of around 1,553 km2 (600 sq mi), including 1,960–2,000 islets, most of which are limestone. The core of the bay has an area of 334 km2 (129 sq mi) with a high density of 775 islets.
The best way to get to Halong City is by car, minibus or bus from Hanoi which is only 170km away. If budget is not a problem, an hour-long helicopter transfer is also available.

Hi @T_QuyThanh ,
Thank you for having shared with us! : ]
It is indeed a unique location, as Ha Long would always be a preferred destination for my family!
I just also wanted to let you know that I have removed the Vietnamese language tag since the post would be presented in English (for further remark, do feel free to check the post How do I find posts in my preferred language?)
