Fa Hien is a ancient cave situated in Sri Lanka. “Fa Hien” a buddhist monk lived here and did meditation. That is how this place got this name. But history is not starting from there. Archaeologist found skeletons more than 38000 years old. This is a huge scientific excavation conducted by Department of Archaeology. There were evidence that these humans used salt by that time. Also sea shells and shark teeth were used to make necklace.
This cave is global importance for understanding the evolution of Asian humans culture and ethics.
