المسجد الكبير -الكويت - Grand Mosque Kuwait city

The Grand Mosque

It is the largest mosque in the State of Kuwait, where it prays in the mosque in the courtyards of the mosque on the night of 27 Ramadan, and about 170 thousand people, and the number of days of course is less
The Grand Mosque is truly one of the most beautiful mosques in the world. The Great Mosque consists of several parts that play a role in harmony and rhythm. On the one hand, there is a group present in another mosque, except for the rare mosque in the mosques of the world.
Designed in luxurious Andalusian style.
All the doors of the Great Mosque in Kuwait are made of Indian teak wood on which Qur’anic verses are engraved and engraved with various lines and lush geometric and floral motifs With great skill

all my words can’t explain how the Grand mosque are beautiful and place can touch your soul

Luxurious and beautiful @Mohamedsalah25 .

It’s also a great thing so many people praying together. A wise person said that the politicians can not change the world, but a group of devotees praying can do this. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello @Mohamedsalah25 ,

Thank you for sharing these amazing photos with us, the ceiling looks like a blooming flower!

Definitely, there is a huge difference in terms of architecture and ornaments when it comes to mosques in the Muslim world! As a person who grew up in Morocco, I might say that most of the Moroccan mosques, except the Hassan II mosque in Casablanca, are very simple in terms of decors and white is the dominant color, both from inside and outside. Furthermore, all the Moroccan mosques have only one minaret.

yes , you are right
but always people try to show the best when they going to make large mosques
we also in Egypt have very simple mosques in every street , even some people use room in house as mosque and called it Zawya ( Angle in English )
but when we want show something different or huge , we thinking totally out of box
for example we built very large mosque in the new capital last year and most people talking about beautiful design and structure and gardens around ( i’m not visit it yet )

also you can see my post for Al Hassan II mosque here
