One of the UNIQUES moment for pictures at the Grand Canyon, is on Sunset moment, exactly the last 30 minutes of light REMEMBER THE PARK IS HUGE AND YOU WILL TO BE AT SOME OF THE POINT VIEW, I RECOMMEND TO YOU MATHER POINT (because is close to the Visitor Center and one of the best views of the Canyon). CHECK THE SUNSET AND SUNRISE TIMES AT GOOGLE.
For this moment you only will need your cellphone at the begining of the Sunset or Camera and tripod (because the light start to leave and you will have more chance of pictures using tripod (forcing the camera to absorve the light that remain in the atmosfere).

My camera is a Nikon D3400 and I use tripod to stabilized the image, the experience was amazing, and the pictures only show a little bit of the stunning beauty, the park is huge, time goes faster there…
Y lo es, la verdad el parque es inmenso, y el tiempo no alcanza para disfrutar cada uno de los miradores y ni se diga los trails para hacer senderismo, es como estar viendo una postal que a cada momento conforme la luz cambia, la postal tambien.
Thanks!.. I wish have the chance to come back, because the park is huge! this is the National partk, but the Gran Canyon is more than that, is Colorado River Rapids, North Rim, and West Rim.
