Google taking ages to upload my reviews or not posting at all.

Hello everyone,

this is more about being able to complain and hoping I’m not the only one affected. It seems like Google has some problems with my reviews. While some from 2 weeks ago say that they haven’t been posted due to some “problems” (and even not including the photos I attached for my reviews), I tried to post two new ones yesterday and they’re still “being uploaded” which is ridiculous since it normally takes a couple of minutes, maybe an hour or two. Is something going on?

“There has been a problem when uploading the content” — doesn’t help if I reupload.

Now to your specific query:

I can see that out of 114 reviews posted by you, 96 reviews are publicly available. So, 18 reviews of yours have been taken down.

The first quick step is, just remove the photo and re-publish your review. This may go to the public. Photos at times are hidden because of certain policies as given below in the link and hence the associated review also gets hidden. If this does not work follow the below steps:

  1. Request you to go through the Map Policies and also about Prohibited Contents.
  2. If you find your reviews complying to the policy, you may fill out the Account Investigation Form for re-instating your review. The investigation process takes some time and if it is found okay, they will be made public.
