Anyone else having issues with searching within Google Maps? This is the error I’m seeing-
I’ve tried different computers and different browsers.

Is the same search working as expected on phones? Or is the issue isolated to computers?

@MortenCopenhagen good question. Just checked and it appears to be impacting mobile as well.

I also tested and found no issues. Maybe the issue is limited to some regions. I’m in Europe. You?

@MortenCopenhagen Interesting, ok thank you for checking. I’m located in Phoenix, USA.
To replicate the issue:
Select the search input field
Followed by entering a search term
Finally, this error appears

On cell Maps search is broken also, I cannot do a search in a specific area. This is an example, it just returns the overall area.

No issues on my end.
Which server is helping me is probably depending on my location.
If you are familiar with VPN try “moving” to somewhere in Europe and try again.

In the past few hours, there have been several reports on the Google Maps forum about exactly the same problems. So it seems there might be a technical issue. We have also requested the map team to look into the matter.

I believe we can conclude that escalation via the LG team is not needed. This issue is also much bigger than just related to LGs.
