I was reading the article a few hours ago, and I was waiting for you to write this topic.
I am happy for all the people in Nepal, this is a big step forward for Google Maps
This is surely a good news for the Google Maps users in the mountainous country like Nepal, introduction of Street View map will be great for hill top restaurants and also a good feature for the bike riders to reach the hotel/restaurant situated on the hill carefully through the winding path.
Yesterday i got the mail about these updated feature dear @MortenCopenhagen sir
Thanks for sharing with us
I had a very small contribution in this mission compared to the others, but it is cool to think that we may have helped map out some areas that can now be put to use by Street View!
As a Google Map users, I am very satisfied & i give it to ten out ten point for Nepali local guide & Google map users for Street view feature on map. i can say Google Map’s this step is wonderful step to digitization @PragnyanG
Thanks
Yes, @MortenCopenhagen, it’s great news to finally have this after such a long wait.
Before Google’s official Street View, many contributors, including myself, uploaded imagery for different places, though the quality was often inconsistent. I’m hoping for even more coverage in the coming years.
