Because of google maps and I have an eager vision to help the country and community, I able to give support to lot of people and institutions. So even though I am a social media strategist by profession, my lot of works are about social works - helping people.
In the beginning I my suggestions took 2-3 days to update. Now, most of my suggestions are approved within 1 minute. I think its because I have done so much.
So here is the story, Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka commonly known as IBSL called me to correct there building in Google Maps. They have few floors and they rented one floor to an another company, and when people search it, only that company shows in the map. Officers of IBSL have tried it with some local guides and didn’t succeed and they asked me to do it. So I went there and checked the place, discussed it with them and suggested the place correctly(IBSL).
They were happy and it was comforting to me as well !!!
