This awareness program is for young generation enters to the e-world after their secondary education. The session will be held at Gampaha Nenasala Center. We will share our knowledge and experience as Local Guides with them through the use of Google Maps. They will also be educated about other free Google tools available. The Nenasala Project will aim to meet the infrastructure requirements in order to address the information and communication needs of rural areas in all parts of the country through the establishment of Nenasalas and the provision of ICT based services. This program will help the students to expose them selves to the technology.

@kasunaaa , it was a great session. Thanks for organising this meetup. I hope we were able to inspire lot of Yong minds to become Local guides and grow with the community. Feedback received during after discussions were quite positive and encouraging. Lot of them who didn’t even know about Local Guides now very exited to contribute to the maps and community.
