Hello guys, I added a new place in my city. When added the location, the location following the long distance path instead of the right path. Google says “The route has restricted usage or private roads” but this road is completely public route where people and vehicles are running daily. I put a screen short where you can see yellow route is more shorter than the google shows!
How can I fix this issue?

You have posted this in the Local stories section. It would be really helpful if you would move this post to the How-to section where it fits better. Just edit your post again, select the new Topic at the top, and save it again. Further instructions on editing your posts can be found here.

Have you tried to edit the road to make it public? From your screenshot it. Looks like the road could be a path for pedestrians and bicycles only.
If you can’t fix it your self, please try the Maps support forum.
Hit the Community tap at the top and make a post. You need to attach or link to official documentation supporting the change you are proposing.

You could try making the navigation for walking and see if the result is better.

Editing a road is actually not possible in the area, @MortenCopenhagen , @Zinan
And in fact if you try to set Maps for “walking” nothing changes.
The best option, as suggested already by Morten, is to submit the issue to the Google Maps help community, adding an official documentation to support your information.
