@Benson450 You can’t get direct access to a Product Expert. What you can do is post your question on the Google Maps Help Community (link below) which is monitored by Product Experts, and depending on what the situation is, your issue may get escalated

there are road names I have edited some were already approved and published and didn’t appear on the map for a long time now while some are still pending approval over some months.

Hi @Benson450
It would be very helpful if you would use the tagging tool when replying to someone here on Connect. Type @ followed by the username. Type slowly. Then we get an e-mail notification and you are more likely to get a prompt reply. Just hitting Reply does not ensure we get notified by email.
When I create new roads only 30% get approved. These are unnamed roads. Google Maps depends heavily on online sources to verify edits. A road name is a lot less likely to be approved. So hoping to get all your road names approved is honestly not realistic.
Please seek help with this in the Maps support forum as suggested by @iyudhi .
Hit the Community tab at the top and make a post. You need to attach or link to official documentation supporting the name you are proposing. Copyright-free governmental maps are probably the best proof you can attach.
Without such official documentation, you will not be successful.

I really appreciate ur honest and fast feedback.
Am a very passionate local Guide. Majority of my edit are actually Adding Government Approved Road Names to Unnamed Roads on the map. Because of my passion for Google product. I have access the Government Approved documents of a street name whenever I request for it as an evidence to Google map. I also go extra mile to take pictures and video of the street including the signage’s of the street.
My aim is to get as many unnamed Roads named in other to reduce wrong rough and delivery issues in my state and county at large. This amongst many are my passion for google products. Now I need a Direct access to Google map Technical team to help verify and update my upload whenever I have some. Cheers to @iyudhi for your assistance.

The product experts are volunteers also. I suggest you do your best to make it easy for them to escalate your road names by attaching the needed documents. And include the Maps links to the relevant unnamed road.
Over time you can build a relationship with one or more of the experts and set up a rutine for quick escalation.

Having an approved road name using the Road editor is almost impossible. I had some name approved when the program started, and now time by time I see that a road added by me without a name now have it. The reason why the names stay pending is related to the low priority that a name has, compared with the approval/addition of new roads.
But, as you said “I have access the Government Approved documents” you may be interesting in reading this: Maps Content Partners .
Google Maps accept geo-spatial information, including road names, from "Local, regional, and national authorities, like:
- Municipalities
- Transportation, tourism, and other agencies
- State / National mapping agencies
- Indigenous and Aboriginal authorities"
I uploaded some data with them on behalf of a municipality, and everything was uploaded in just a few days

I really appreciate your contribution @ErmesT i have tried using the Google content partner to upload some. Am still waiting for feedback from the team. I hope this works out fast and without itches. I would need guide to as what and what they will require for a successful upload.
@MortenCopenhagen Am currently contributing to the community tirelessly I also wish am already a product expert properly . I am currently a Bronze Member of the product expert program but still I can’t escalate directly to the team. Do u think there is something I need to know in order to be able to escalate issues directly to the team.

Once your data are ready, and you are registered to the program, just fill the form at the bottom of the page.
In my case everything was analyzed and published in less than a week

@Benson450 I’m familiar with the Google Help Community program, and have had some success getting issues resolved through the Maps Product Experts. You appear to be gathering the correct bits of evidence, but the only thing you can do is post a question and hope that an Expert takes up your case. It is only at that point that you can then upload your evidence for further escalation and resolution.

@Benson450 For escalating personal map editing issue, climbing up the ranks on the Product Expert program is NOT the way to go. I suggest you reading up again on the purpose of the Product Expert community. At some point in the ranks you’ll be able to escalate issues, but it’s for the purpose of helping others in the community when it’s really needed, not necessarily escalating your personal issues.

In addition to being a moderator here, I am also a Maps Product Expert.
Product Experts are there to help everyone; no one gets “direct access” to a PE over the other people asking for help. You will need to continue to make posts in the Maps community and await assistance.
Regarding the Partners Program, to be very clear, you can only use the program if you have been designated by the government as their official representative. Having access is not enough. My job is as a government employee; I use our official Maps daily and I contribute towards the data on them. I would never sign up for the Partner Program as I have not been granted that authority by my employer. Part of the process of signing up is asserting that you are their legal representative, as you will be representing to Google that you have the authority to grant them the right to use the government’s copyrighted maps and their data. If you do not have that authority then you need to not use that program as you will otherwise put yourself in legal jeopardy.
Are your main goals for progressing with the PE program to improve the success of your own edits, either via more automated approvals and/or via being able to escalate your problem edits?

@Flash am so excited to meet you here. Am sure you can remember me. You have actually assisted me in many times to help escalate my issues to the team. You have actually said it all about being a government representative and all that stuff. I am a representative of the Abuja Municipal Area council via The Consultant Handling Street Naming House Numbering project. @Flash I have been doing this since 2019 or 2017 if am not mistaken. Now the issue here is that am very skeptical in downloading all my profile in a public space like the Map Community that’s why I have withheld some information. I have to say it because u have also said same here so I feel safe to say it. At a point I was wrongly accused of loading a doctored image which led to some of the PE to stop escaping my case, Now the cases are gradually pilling up, @Flash You can check my profile in the community u will realize that I have posted almost seven cases in one thread. @Flash This is the challenges am having. I can show any evidence you need regarding this. I need you to assist in any way possible you can. Many thanks @Flash
