hi i found some abnormally or irregularity on the statistics of Photos (first photo of a place), the sub menu or item under UNLOCK TRAILBLAZZER: the original number of 128 has been abruptly reduced to zero!

grateful if you could help to look into the problem and rectify it, restore to original status

Strangely, your profile has reviews visible, but photos NOT visible. We’re unable to see what you’re having an issue with.

actually this strange phenomena not first time, sometimes it is not so.abrupt but the no. reduce by one, when i expect it go.up as i added a first time photo, actually the no of photo views per day was 0.2-0.8 million, but recent few days only 20000+ or so per day, it made no sense the number dropped so dramatically, but my upmost attention now is to rectify the PHOTOS number back to 128 from zero

The issue with your trailblazer badge is that no one of your photos, as mentioned by @tony_b , is publicly visible.
Looks like Google Maps decided to hide all your photos, and as we can’t see them, we can only guess.
We may have an indication from your master photographer badge, that is showing an average of 26.3 photos on each place where you contributed.

This is a quite big amount of photos per place, and it’s normally a signal of redundancy (very similar or duplicate photos) that is a not permitted practice, because it dilutes the information about a place.
Can you see your photos in your profile? If so, this can confirm that choice by Google. 248 of your reviews are hidden too, maybe because they have photos attached
At the moment we can’t say more, but a few screenshots of your recent contributions (photos) could help us to give you more details.
Of course you can appeal for Google to restore your contributions.

However, before to appeal, I suggest you to check if the photos uploaded by you are respecting all the policies:

  • only photos taken by you
  • no similar photos
  • no duplicate photos

otherwise the result of the check could be unpleasant.

hi thanks a lot for your answer and explanation in details, i’d make an appeal later, but glitch similar to this happens from time to time just not as drastic as this one, eg under TRAILBLAZZER, first review of a place number reduced by one each time i.added a first review (from 66
to 60, and then rise suddenly to 71, and just yesterday or so, reduced to 70 whereas i did nothing)

anyway, please accept my big thanks, i will be careful not to add so.many photos for each place, i know the googlemap is mainly managed by robot or IT, and probably it has some logic or assumption if someone has so much zeal on google map ?:blush:

actually i have an additional questions, sometimes i will review my previous written review, re written by adding more content AND add new photos (as i visit the place again), but mostly i won’t remove previous posted photos, AND then i finish re-editing by pressing the POST button, i wonder if this act counted as duplicate photos?
