Sorry if I’m writing this in the wrong place, but I have a problem with google reviews that are not publicly visible, and so far I’ve written 352 of them. I tried to edit them, thinking that there was a problem there, but that didn’t help either.
After 5-6 days, I would always get an automatic response that my profile is in order and that I don’t have any sanctions.
˝Thank you for contacting Google support. Based on the information provided, we are happy to confirm that there are no penalties against your account. Please log in on Connect in order to get full access to the forum and all the benefits of our community.

Despite that answer, my reviews are still not visible, I’m wondering if there is a solution to that problem, because it’s kind of pointless for me to write reviews that only I can see when I’m logged in.
thank you for reaching out to us and a very warm welcome on Connect, the official Local Guides forum!
Apologies for your issue, I’m informing you that there is an already ongoing discussion about this topic where there is a special form you can fill in and submit mentioning what contributions you are missing, the relevant team will take care about that.
Since you are new here on Connect allow me also to pass you the link to Your guide to Connect to make yourself comfortable and understand how to best use Connect. If you need any further help you can always refer to our Help Desk like you did now.
If you wish you can also introduce yourself to the community and the other Local Guides by writing something about yourself in our monthly introduction discussion Introduce Yourself September 2022.
Thanks for the answer, I’m familiar with the discussion on the topic I’m interested in, but since it’s not possible to write there, I asked the question in this way.
I wrote the Google Form again, but since it didn’t help before, I doubt that it will even now, despite the fact that I have already been answered several times that my profile is correct and without sanctions.
you cannot comment the discussion because it is locked for further comment once the Google Form has been created as you can read in the solution of the thread.
Have you filled the Google Form mentioned in the discussion? Because you linked the Local Guides appeal form which is something different, while the one in the specific discussion is to submit investigation for hidden contributions on Google Maps.
Moreover, as a suggestion, when you are replying please tag the person by using the @ sign with the Connect username, like I did with you, so that the person will receive a notification about your message and is aware about it.
I hope that after some time I will get a more precise answer from the administrator this time, that is, to see if my problem can be solved or if it is time to retire the profile
Great and more than welcome @Andre_Linoge , hope too that you will get back your reviews public.
As mentioned in the announcement If your contributions comply with the Maps policies, they will be reinstated. Please keep in mind that it may take some time for the team to ensure all reviews that they reinstate abide by Google Maps policies. Please also note that the team will not alert you with the final result.
I’ll also mark my comment as solution for this specific question.
I think there should be a special section /post as I have now read 4 similar cases. Looks like there are a few of us going through the same problem.
I just need reassurance that someone, somewhere knows why this is happening and acknowledges that it will be fixed. An email would be helpful.
Yes there is an official announcement about this behavior, I’ve linked it above in my first reply. You can find all information and the Google Form link to submit, as well comments from other Local Guides, all in there.
Heading should be changed
to on going instead of resolved
one of the first pages I got to when researching why reviews were not being published.
I have filled in all forms mentioned. Fingers crossed I get my account back.
as mentioned in the announcement the root cause of the issue has been resolved, so the topic and heading is correct. However affected contributions maybe not reinstated automatically hence why the specific Google Form has been created.
If all your contributions are complying to the Google Maps policies then you have don’t worry because they will be checked and reinstated.
For more information on how reviews are moderated on Google Maps, you can check out the new video and the blog post on The Keyword.
I have not received any feedback or reply when I submitted form and as far as I understand, I won’t even get a reply, they won’t inform me regardless of how they will solve my case…
I had no problems with the photos, they haven’t disappeared for me.
I noticed that my reviews started disappearing about 2 months ago, maybe it’s a coincidence, but it started happening when I wrote a few bad reviews, that is, when I gave slightly lower ratings.
I have the exact same issue. Filled in the Google form, sent an additional complaint to the support. Today I’ve received an answer from the support telling me that there is no problem with my account. Still, four of my reviews remain invisible. I have no clue why.
Here is my latest situation, I filled out the form and of course nothing was reported to me on gmail and the reviews were not returned to me, but now after about 10 days when I write a new review or renew an old one it remains publicly visible which was not the case before…
Greeting,I hope this information was useful to you
Just to let you know that all my reviews are publicly invisible again, I guess I made an editing mistake, I edited too many of them in a short period of time and as a result they are all invisible again. All this doesn’t make any sense anymore, but I’m reporting that you don’t accidentally do the same…
Here I am again, I just want to let you know that 99% of the reviews have been returned to me (they are now publicly visible), so I believe that this will happen to all of you who had the same problem. I hope that such things will not be repeated again, although the fact is that google maps have certain bugs.
For now, the only solution is to fill out this form
