Hi @LewisW92 where have you red that LG L 4 can be given a 1TB storage?!!
All I know is as the screen shot shows you . Except those use Pixel phones are different, so they can use with STORAGE SAVER ( High Quality ) with no limits .
This is indeed interesting @LewisW92 , because images uploaded to Google Photos have started using storage since June, and your last image in Maps is dated May. Furthermore, the images uploaded to Maps do not use our storage space.
What you are citing is outdated information that has not been valid for years.
You can use the information given by @OSAMA_1 to compress your space in Google Photos

It means that it was full already, or that you filled it with your own contents in the last 26 days, as the change started on June 1st. The contributions in Google Maps (please remember that we are a community of Local Guides) are not using your quota, and in any case you didn’t uploaded any photo after June 1st
I have read that Level 4 Local Guides are given 1TB storage however my limit is still 15GB. No, this is an outdated information, that promotions ended several years ago. At that time Level 5 was the highest level, so the meaning of Level was very different from the actual one
Due to these changes I am considering leaving Google Drive for One Drive out of principle. Ok. I am using both, as I have a Microsoft working account. I don’t see an issue in using storages from different providers
I have spent many years contributing to both Local Guides and YouTube Deputy programs. That’s great, as you can see we have a lot of great contributors in the community

Hello. It is inappropriate, that thousands of people in the world collaborate with Google, in Maps, selflessly and then, Google, charges everyone the same in Google Photos, for their Google One.
They could have a (minimum) detail in that, with the local guides, at least with the most prominent ones.

There aren’t specific perks for each and every Level. Local Guides enjoy early access to new product features and rewards from Google partners and these awards are available worldwide or by region. There is no financial compensation from being a Local Guide as this is an at-will program that Local Guides are free to contribute to at their own leisure.
Local Guides who have opted in to receive benefit emails will be updated with any new rewards and they encourage Local Guides to check their email-settings and update/monitor their email preferences as well as their spam or promotions folder.
And one more thing, Local Guides is a voluntary program and many people participate in it because they want to be able to help others via the Google Maps platform. You can read more - “Why be a Local Guide?”

I see several moderators. Lately, also many changes in Local Guides… Many new icons, catalogs, ranks, more or less honorary medals. I hear here, I find out that years ago, Google did offer 1 TB free to its best collaborators on Google Maps. Not now, not now, none of that … Many (plastic) medals, as in school or in boy scouts, but nothing to truly attend or distinguish their most generous friends from among those who allowed them and allow them maintain the splendid photography gallery, the world panorama that Google Maps is today … In Spain there is a saying:
“Mucho te quiero, perrito, pero pan, poquito”…
It means that works are loves, not beautiful songs. I wrote to Google Marketing (I think it’s so called, maybe Google Press), months ago, an email about this and they didn’t reply. It is about getting hard-working “friends”, who are and were working for nothing, for Google, for free but, when it comes to charging, give plastic medals in exchange to them, not twisting their motto EVERYONE TO PAY. Keep taking beautiful photos you, we will use them as ever, but you, pay …
Less moderators, less new icons and medals… Attend to keep happy and proud to work for you those people, really distinguishing them with that free TB for them. If not, they/you will lose friends, even if you/they don’t care.
Despite having more than 30.0000 photos stored, I still not using any storage plan other than the free one, so I don’t have a direct experience on this. Also, this is not a question related to the Local Guides Program, but I will try to find a place for you to address your question.
I see that in your screenshot there is a link to “Contact Google LLC”. Have you already tried that way?

@ErmesT After clicking on this link chat and mail option can be seen but both the options are disable as they also shows that due to pandemic they may not provide you the support and they redirect my page to the support form.
And my Gmail drive is also exceeded.

Google i have same question, 15 gb is too small
As local guide, once i received mail where i was proposed to use google one for one year free , i refused , because when my free period end up where would go my photos and files which was over 15gb ?
current price for google drive is too high for me, i am ready to pay adequate price
After a year of not contributing for free (Maps) to someone who charges me €24 a year (One), I receive two emails:
One from Google Maps, encouraging me to post more photos, because I have already reached 10 million views!
On the same day and almost at the same time, I get a note about the monthly charge for Google One… It’s like a joke, as if they were making fun of me and so many others in my situation. After years of meticulous work done lovingly and generously, the payment we receive is… The payment is a collection! and they dare to suggest that we continue to work for free, in addition to paying month after month. Incredible!
