I am a local guide and i am also a owner of the business in google maps

  1. I can be a local guides and owner of a business in same email id?
  2. So,i will be eligible for the perks ?

Hi @Samay26 ,

As per my knowledge you’re not eligible to use same account for Business and LG program.

The Local Guides program is for individuals.

Contributions from organizations, brands, or businesses do not count toward the Local Guides program and violators may be removed from the program.

Soliciting Local Guides is strictly prohibited.

Hence no perks as well… Plus you can’t make multiple accounts for the same…

Of course a business owner can be also a Local Guide @Samay26 , but of course you must partecipate to the program as an Individual.

According to the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions “you are not allowed to bundle such services with your Local Guide membership”

As you can read on the Local Guides help page, on the Overview “Contributions from businesses or business pages will not count toward Local Guides levels or benefits”
