Time flies and it’s already the end of September, which means summer is leaving us soon. Like I’ve said in other articles, I am not a summer person, but there’s one thing I love so much about summer, ice dessert! From ice-cream, soft serve, smoothies, shaved ice, to more! And in today’s article, I’m sharing 3 amazing desserts I had to farewell summer. Voila, enjoy it!
This ice shop is inside Eslite Spectrum Songyan Store, a famous bookstore and department store branch in Taiwan. The watermelon snowflake ice is one of their most popular items. Enjoy the sweet and fresh taste of iced watermelon. And don’t forget to add condensed milk! It makes snowflakes taste smoother and richer.
It is one of the most popular mango shaved ice shops in town, with a total of 4 branch shops in the Taipei metropolitan area. The signature mango snowflake ice is made of mango juice shaved ice, mango ice-cream, mango jam, and Panna cotta. Let eaters enjoy 3 treats at once.
The Wrice is located in Zhongshan, a hip district near Taipei Main Station. Different from the above 2 ice shops, The Wrice sells not only ice desserts but also curry rice. I didn’t get the chance to try it but I will definitely do next time. Back to the ice, it may look simple but underneath the milky snow mountain, there’re more to discover, tofu jelly, sweet beans, roast nuts, and more!
Kudos for your photo skills, @ChanneLing . Your camera is quite good. Do you usually use some filters or edit your photos or is it only using the phone that makes so beautiful photos?
P.S.: Only by looking at your photos, I can feel how delicious these desserts are…
Thank you! @TsekoV Hahaha yes, I did edit the photos. Normally, I’d brighter them first, then sharper a little bit so the photos won’t be affected by compression too much after the upload.
You should definitely visit Taiwan and try these yum desserts if have chance!
