I have observed a recent change in the Gmail Roads Edit acknowledgment subject line, since November 8th, 2024. I want to share my experience. Curious to know, if all users are experiencing this change.

Yes, emails related to normal edits are also getting changed. They now include the name of the place.
Such changes break my email filters.
I appreciate improvements, but I also hope for a lot more improvements to those emails ASAP.
I think I’m getting these updates for last 3-4 months atleast

Yes but if one makes lots of edits they can be little too much, clog the storage. I have deleted almost 2000 emails saying being checked and successfully published

Yes @MortenCopenhagen raised a very valid point there. I have created 3 different filters already as the changes come. I’m not too sure how many more we should create. It’s quite annoying and not great when these E-mails on roads come into your main mailing. Especially for some of us who go into hundreds of road edits.
Changes are good though,but the positive ones are even better.

Yes, this is the last change about notifications related to edits, made to align the wording in the email with the ones used in Google Maps, and it is probably the reaction to a long series of concerns raised by the community.
In the last change they also added the name of the edited place in the header of the email, even if this part it is helpful mostly for edits related to POIs, while for roads it appears only if the road you added has a name.

Out of these 3 snapshots we have 2 common. One is super popular for getting 500 likes and other is for connect challenge winner.
You have one extra that is for accessibility which you must have participated for.
Okay nope dear @Trail_blazer you can participat the latest challenge on connect & achieve the badge.but you didn’t analysis the month & year.
Oh I see. For a moment I thought these are emails but these are snapshots from profile.
So I reckon you may see the year 2024 next year coz you got this just a month ago. I’m not super sure but it seems this should be the logic.
If you tap the badge you can see the name of all the winners of this badge on 25th Oct.
